Humor is the Best Medicine, by PBRStreetGang

If you’ve been paying attention, the world has turned into a soul-crushing place and quite literally a fight of good versus evil. There’s an unlimited number of reasons to be down and out, angry and sad. It doesn’t have to be that way. Yes, be aware, get angry over injustices done to you, fight for what’s right…but don’t forget to laugh along the way.
Gallows humor and the ability to laugh in tough times and (more importantly) make others laugh and smile is a gift from God, don’t waste it. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting to become a court jester or a fool…there’s a time and place for everything. But I’ve definitely felt that morale boost and the ability to push through just from humor at times.
Some of the funniest people I’ve met and some of the biggest laughs I’ve laughed have been while in the military, on construction sites and even in prison. It’s amazing how just when you think you’ve had enough and it’s time to pack it up and head home, someone can make you laugh and realize “I can get through this.”
Even if you’re just on your own, laughter is just a headline away in the news, or the most recent gaffe from Joetard trying to read his teleprompter. Myself, I prefer George Carlin, but I’m old school and your mileage may vary. Huge hat tip to the meme lords out there for spreading the humor online too, you guys are the real MVP’s.
That’s all I got, but remember, laughter is contagious and sometimes that’s all you or someone else needs to keep going.

The track vehicle driver’s helmet was hilarious. I would have loved to have one of those when I had to drive a similar size tracked vehicle in AIT. Probably would still be “recycling” through AIT if I did.
