So the reality on the ground is different than what the State Department says publicly. I am shocked. (feigned sarcasm)
Yep–big gap in the MSM reporting and things happening on the ground.
To my old eyes, the fighting reminds me of an old Big Ten College Football game back in the day–the Woody Hayes classic: “three yards and a cloud of dust.” Just grinding it out.
No big, spectacular “Hail Mary” ops. Like Woody often said: “three things can happen to you when you pass–and two of them are bad.”
