    Doesn’t know what leek is? Try ham rolls filled with leek, covered in cheese saus, served with the humble spud or mash. As for courgette, you’ll better like them a lot, ’cause that’s what you’re getting….A LOT :)
    Also, beetroot, easy to grow, even better to eat. Same goes for turnips – good for stews.

      Leeks are amazing- wild spring onions are excellent too. Chop the whole thing up, greens and all, in a egg scramble. You’ll be happy you did. :)

        A few slices of deer liver fried up with some chopped wild onions and green pepper is good eating too
        And some fresh beet greens on a sandwich instead of lettuce will make you turn your nose up at iceberg lettuce
