Lake Mead drying up due to portions of California sharing the water source that is Lake Powell. Lake Powell being connected to the Colorado River system makes it a prime candidate for a dam and controlled release for water supply. It may be futile to try and sound the congressional alarm about this particular travesty. However, a concerned citizen should attempt to discover how this drought came to be in order to identify early warning signs.

Partly because the federal overlords have determined it is time that Nevada should become unlivable. This of course, to bring the annexation of California and Nevada into a SUPER-STATE thus bringing CA electoral vote count to an astronomical 61 electoral votes for the presidential elections. Perhaps, and the more likely answer, the Lord never intended his children to build a city in the desert and nickname it after their rebellion against him. Albeit, Nevada is a rough land to inhabit and nature always wins. Regardless of the cause and lack of response, it is sad to see people deciding if they should leave their homes or to stay.
