A man with a love of BBQ is a man after my own heart! I wish I’d had the honor of meeting him.
He sounds like quite a character, and a man who touched many lives. I’m sure he’ll be remembered often in story, whether in those long nights reminiscing around the campfire, at the dinner table, or in those many unexpected times when something out of the blue happens & you just can’t help but be reminded of him.
I’m sorry to hear of his passing, brother.

I was a leg 11B, so I did not pick up on the jumpschool connection, but not much else in the guy’s screed was expressed in the common American soldier vernacular. Might I offer a possible alternative? Perhaps it was a ref to ripping out the Pritchard introduction from the poetry textbook in the movie “Dead Poets Society”.? Just a thought..

That could be it too, hell, who knows. But with that said folks on the Right need to come to the realization that Revolutionaries in America do indeed have military backgrounds and at least a section of them with pretty serious levels of training and organizational capacity. It is dangerous and foolish to write such a threat off.
