We Need More Teeth, by Scipio

In the final scene of the movie “Jurassic World”, there is a titanic struggle between the quasi-government created dinosaur, “Indominus” fighting against the grass roots Velociraptors protecting the protagonist and friends. The AR-15s (I mean the Velociraptors) were outgunned by the armored vehicle (I mean “Indominous”).  The youngest member of the cast, Gray, identified what would tip the battle in their favor, when he said, “We need more teeth.” Claire ran immediately to the Armory (I mean the dinosaur containment area) and lead out a giant Javelin (I mean T-Rex).   T-Rex fights Indominous to a draw within the effective range of a cruise missile (I mean the sea monster Mosasaurus).  Humanity is saved by “armed to the teeth” (sorry couldn’t help the pun) ordinary citizens.

Moral of the story? Look up what the Battle of Concord and Lexington was actually about strategically. First, it was fought by an organized militia, not a rag tag bunch of Minutemen.  Secondly, it was fought over supplies at a British Armory (more teeth).

The patriots had their AR-15s (I mean muskets) and the British had their AR-15s (I mean muskets). The British had bigger teeth stored in Lexington and Concord, and the Patriots knew they needed big teeth to have a chance of winning against tyranny. The words of the Declaration of Independence were proclaimed after this event.  We have God given (not just the Second Amendment) rights to fight and defend our liberty by securing your ARs, AKs, and whatever. In this fight to keep our arms, we will need to keep our AR-15s, but remember, they won’t be enough.

Need belt-fed weapons at least, and plenty of night vision. Unfortunately it’s cost-prohibitive for most people. Including myself. That damn NFA screwed us.

The number one prep has nothing to do with stuff. Without solid buddies, your just waiting around for someone organized to harvest all your cool guy stuff. I liked the “organized” reference as its solid gold! Keep your money and spend time on new friends….real ones!

This is why I push the concept of the Anti-Materiel Rifle (AMR), so that you have an effective counter to light armored vehicles. It’s also why I teach the Support Weapons Class on how to employ these weapons.
