After watching the link I asked myself, “Am I crazy?”.
We said, “No”.
This vid is an insightful look at the “mental zombies” around us, how to identify them through their eyes (let alone their actions) and apply that skill to your everyday life. Also, the media’s drum beat of this “mental zombification” helps understand the sharp decline in critical thinking. The masses are even unaware of critical thinking skills, some incapable and cultivated by others to not have the capacity to think. I have personally observed this for years with my close interactions with students attending major private academic universities for example. Time well spend watching this.
One of recurring qualities we discuss after interviewing prospective employees is answering the question “are the lights on”. It had nothing to do with a candidate’s experience or skill set, but a measure of based on speech, reactions, and eye contact. Interesting to see there may be some science behind our deliberations.
