David G. Jakubonis – left wing extremist tried to stab Lee Zeldin in neck (allegedly) gets released from jail, no bail
David G. Jakubonis a left wing extremist who “allegedly” tried to stab Lee Zeldin in the neck with a sharp object in Rochester last night is free, out of jail with no bail as once again, New York leftists go extreme and get away with it. David Jakubonis tries to stab Lee Zeldin in the neck “allegedly” with a sharp object, and gets released so quickly from jail in New York? This is why people are fleeing New York in record numbers. If Jakubonis actually succeeded in stabbing Zeldin, who knows what could have happened!
The man who allegedly tried to stab Republican candidate for New York governor Lee Zeldin with a bladed weapon during a campaign stop on Thursday was released from jail within hours of his arrest on a felony charge — just as Zeldin had predicted.
David Jakubonis, 43, from Fairport, New York, was arraigned overnight in Perinton Town Court on a count of second-degree attempted assault stemming from the attack on Rep. Zeldin but was quickly released on his own recognizance.
In a tweet after the violent incident in Monroe County, Zeldin, who is running as a tough-on-crime candidate against incumbent Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul, said he expected his alleged assailant to be back on the streets in no time.
“His words as he tried to stab me a few hours ago were ‘you’re done’, but several attendees, including @EspositoforNY, quickly jumped into action & tackled the guy,” the gubernatorial hopeful tweeted early Friday. “Law enforcement was on the scene within minutes. The attacker will likely be instantly released under NY’s laws.”

Current GOV of NY–egging people on via social media….
With this comment I’m not attempting to minimize the reality of these kinds of threats. However, the video of the attack didn’t show a very motivated killer. It appeared to be a very half hearted “attack.” (attack?) It was almost as if it was a staged event. Possibly a publicity stunt. The victim seemed to initiate the drama by reaching down to grab the hand with the alleged weapon. The hand was not raised, slashing or thrusting to attack. The “attacker” didn’t struggle until he was overwhelmed with those responding to aid the victim. To me the scene appeared to be fabricated. The assailant could also have been strung out on drugs and or medicine, and or mentally ill in the midst of some form of reaction to a possible combination of any or all of these kind of things. It could be that the judge thought so as well.
We live in very strange times that are fast becoming more so.
