Old crop is out of condition. (Dumped a few 100,000# myself) New crop is still coming along and most growers have learned that potatoes in stores before the end of the state fair are just a headache. (Too hot, poor sales, high breakdown) Potatoes are still stupid cheap after potash tripled in price and 10-34-0 is never looking to drop below 2X the 2020 price. Already heard that Admire has hit a production problem and will be zeroed out for availability next crop. More insecticides will follow in being unavailable.
Hunts point has been so corrupt for so long that Long Island potato production is almost gone. There’s no local crop for the City.
The ninja should chill out for two weeks and then there’s going to be a clearer picture of the potato situation. The 800# Gorilla is PEI and they won’t be heard from until late September.
southern prepper 1 and ninja and pattera are just fear porn salesman. they have no clue what is going on.or what we have stashed on the barns and bins or feed lots. if they dont want to pay for what something cost. you will get alot less of it.
