I hope & pray that whoever runs that account has kept backups of all its videos. TPTB won’t let it continue on YouTube for long.

I enjoy S2’s posts, well done, informative and not arrogant in delivery.

I liked this one very much because it’s right up my alley.

For me, in my location, sigint is critical and i have multiple systems in place for both mobile (suv), field based, out of suv, and static at my home..

Alerts thru various news feeds of issues i’m concerned with, google alerts as well to things i have tagged

Then scanner pro app on phone with alerts set up when things break that concern me, and broadcastify as well.

Now off to sigint kit at home.

Uniden home digi patroll II on desk, connected to a diamond discone in attic to monitor various .civ/.le/.gov feeds out to 20 mile radius.

Also have an sdr rig on pc, that i can access too.

then local vhf/uhf traffic via kenwood tm-v71 connected to wide band antenna in attic, i can monitor frs/gmrs/murs and other traffic with it in conjunction to the normal amateur band 2m/70cm traffic and repeater and simplex chatter.

Then my hf rig, a used alinco dx sr8 that a keen eyed mate of mine saw at a local hamfest and i snatched it, works great with an end fed, long wire nvis antenna i can quickly string up thru the trees that line the sidewalk on our street. almost invisible to the eye…

For mobile and field stuff, similar kit, uniden digi sds100 connected to diamond mobile discone on roof of suv and a tm-v71 in suv connected to wide band uhf/vhf antenna.

also run the uniden bear cat analog scanner too.

I do have a sigint os based laptop that i can fire up in the suv or field as well.

    Also have field hf rigs.

It’s been a process of learning and aquiring kit, getting training via NCS and my own ftx’s has been instrumental in my set ups.

It proved useful a few years ago when the city went full chimpout over a felon w a gun that was dumb enough to point it at a leo…

Rioting ensued and i was able to monitor traffic on both sides and stay up to date and keep mag mates informed too.

A wise man opined that rx’ing is 2x more important than tx’ing, and i agree…
