Sunday Meditation with Mike
This morning in church the preaching was out of Psalm 73, where Asaph was lamenting how good the wicked and sinful people have it. However, in verse 17 he says that he no longer envied them once he spent time with the Lord’s people in the temple and learned the fate of the worldly.
“Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.”
This afternoon, as I sit outside in a rocking chair with my family, I can’t help but draw parallels to the present day. It is easy to look at the present day and become discouraged at how many “victories” the other side seems to score every week. But your spirit can be lifted through spending time reading God’s word and fellowshipping with like-minded people.
Keep strong. When the Lord is behind us, it doesn’t matter what is in front of us.
God bless,
Mike
