TACTICAL WISDOM: Oh, No! It’s the Christians!

Over the last several weeks, story after story has come about how “Christians” and “Christian Nationalists” are putting our democracy at risk. This is a patently false statement, and we’re going to discuss it, but before we get into it, I wanted to point out that Jesus Himself warned us this was going to happen:

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”

Matthew 5:11

The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States guarantees that every one of us has the right to freely worship whatever religion we choose, including not to worship at all. Ironically, certain political elements in the US would like to interpret that to mean “freedom FROM religion”, but that’s just not what it says.

The First Amendment is clear in that the US government cannot be used to restrict the exercise of any religion. Period.

The same people who are calling “Christian Nationalists” a danger to democracy and freedom were calling people “bigots” and “Islamophobes” when anyone pointed out (justifiably) that Islam has certain elements that promote violence, and that Sharia law is anathema to Western democratic principles (it is). The truth is that certain Islamic sects, as well as the Black Hebrew Israelite sect, are more dangerous from a terror standpoint and a nationalism standpoint. Eleven members of the Rise of the Moors militia were arrested after a freeway standoff with Massachusetts police in 2021. The Baton Rouge police shooter in 2016 was a Moorish Sovereign Citizen and the Dallas Police Shooter was a Black Hebrew Israelite.

The truth of the matter is that CHRISTIANS threw off the yoke of Colonialism in America because of religious persecution similar to what we are seeing today. When they wrote the now-famous Declaration of Independence, they invoked the “Protection of Divine Providence”, or the protection of God. When they finished, though, did they state that it would be a Christian-Only theocracy? No, they implemented DEMOCRACY and self-determination.

Self-Determination and self-reliance are inherently Christian concepts. Yes, we should help our neighbors and the needy, but we must first provide for our families. Failing to do so makes us “worse than an unbeliever”:

Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

1 Timothy 5:8

I consider this piece of Tactical Wisdom to also be a command related to preparedness. Providing for your family means much more than just having a job and paying for things. It means providing for their safety, their protection, and their future. In other words, preparedness.

The biggest danger we have, and the one the media is counting on, is the Christian tendency to carry “Love thy neighbor” to absurd degrees. Our tendency, when called dangerous, is to cave in and try to appease those who would subjugate us. It is up to us to resist the labeling and to not go quietly into that dark night. We are not to hand our oppressors the rope.

The Ultimate Tactical handbook gives us clear direction in handling these disputes, for those of you who say things like “go along to get along”:

If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

Matthew 18:17

That’s right, when someone wrongs you and refuses to budge, have no further dealings with them. Rather than trying to win over people who hate you, the teachings of Jesus say to just be done with them. A lot of you could improve your Twitter life by following this “one weird trick”.

When the people of Israel faced an existential threat, an Angel of God appeared to Gideon. Gideon asked why God had let this happen. God threw it back in Gideon’s face, telling him “Am I not sending you” to solve the problem? See, God won’t magically do things for us unless we are willing to do the hard things. Until we start rising up against the growing evil (yes, it’s literal evil) influences in our society, He won’t help us. We have to resist. The Bible is replete with stories of the Faithful allowing evil to flourish, God begging the Faithful to do something about it, & the Faithful failing to and thus suffering the horrible consequences. It is up to US to fight back against the agenda, and He will help us.

They’re calling you terrorists to beat you into submission to their goals and agenda. Don’t fall for it.

Again, let me share what God has to say about being slaves to evil:

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

Get off the couch. Resist the evil agenda.
