RATS really are a “better than nothing” solution to catastrophic bleeding. Really it’s not much harder to carry a CAT than it is to carry a RATS, like the difference between carrying a micro compact and carrying a compact handgun.

Not CoTCCC . Don’t want to carry it. Rats have loosed or came undone while moving a casualty. Buy a CAT It has 20 years of positive data during the global war on terror also saving live daily

If you take real TCCC classes from people like Caleb Causey at Lone Star Medics or Kerry over at Dark Angel Medical you learn about the RATS etc… pretty quickly. As I’ve always said Classes don’t COST YOU MONEY- they SAVE YOU MONEY by making sure you don’t buy crap and learn what you actually NEED vs. what you THINK YOU NEED.
