That’s kind of like trying to find a unicorn right now, what other manufacturer’s are recommended?

Whatever you can get your hands on. “Shit ammo” is better than no ammo.

        Have plenty of sheeit ammo.

Hornady or Barnes both make “heavy” loads that are excellent. The IMI is very good as well and cheaper than the others. Midway often has the IMI along with SG Ammo.

The IMI load is very accurate- I was able to consistently ring steel at 500 yards with it out of a 16” AR at a training class this past summer. The cases are annealed brass with crimped primers (just like Lake City loadings). Midway typically has the best prices on it.

77 grain bullet better than 62 grain or 55 grain one usually finds in 223/5.56 ammo

This stuff is pretty good for 77gr. Says sold out now, but I got some not too far back. Just sign up.

Roll your own. With good technique you’ll get something that chronos close to the reviewed ammo. Most people can do this if they put enough effort into it.

Buy mine factory direct, literally at their factory in SD. But, Lucky Gunner almost always has it. I’ve found the IMI load to be almost as good and cheaper.
