Instructions above are for any naïve or unthinking person who wishes to destroy any health & fitness – if any – that they have remaining & is a lesson in stupidity on how to destroy ones lungs quick smart. This link is the antithesis of so many super great teachings & articles previously shown on American Partisan. Remember folks that what looks good is not necessarily good.

We all have our vices. The vice of some is being a scold on the internet.

      Sigh

Some of the hardest, most badass motherfuckers in the world smoke and drank before or after their missions were done.

Be a Puritan all you want. I will enjoy mt cigars and alcohol.

Remember that you should not sacrifice all enjoyment in this world just to be prepared. At some point we will not be on this earth, and may never get to enjoy it again.

Preparedness is first. But enjoying life while it is still somewhat normal is second.

AMEN Brother! After every Combat Mission I would enjoy a Cohiba and a couple of glasses of Bourbon. I think Peter needs to go back to the Cosmo website.

I don’t smoke many cigars; maybe 3 per year. I learned this lighting process this summer and can attest that it provides a superior smoke to just sucking in the flame. I turn 49 Friday and have today purchased a Cohiba and a bottle Four Roses Single Barrel to enjoy. Thanks for the reminder

Thank you, Patriotman. For an over-the-top, very dressed up, peek into realms we should visit at least once in a while.
Smoking is “bad for your health”. Well, duh.
But the very occasional, very ceremonial, purpose-lit cigar? I do believe it is survivable (70/age, _maybe_ 2 cigars/year average).
I’ve one in the humidor now – it has patiently waited for me to achieve certain self-set goals before even contemplating lighting it. Goals, achievement, reward. And fellowship if in the right company at the right time.

I came across this video randomly and I was blown away.

For starters, I seriously respect their attire, manner, and conduct. That hearkens back to a time that seems long forgotten.

But the knowledge, reverence, and deep seated respect for the craft of cigars is so impressive that I, as I watched drinking a Coors Light, felt ashamed that I was even watching it.

Cigar? We are down 37-0 with very little time remaining.
Cigars are for when we stomp the banners of the commies into the dust.

You are 100% correct in that we have to enjoy life. There is a time for everything. I love great food, great beverage and great company. The fact that we live in these times only makes the rare few opportunities we get to partake, even more an event to savor. They are what make life worth living. Great post.
