UK Government Wargames “Worst Case Scenario”

The Government has launched a war game emergency plan to deal with potential energy blackouts this summer, leaked documents claim.

A secret dossier seen by The Guardian is said to show how Whitehall officials believe Britain’s infrastructure would cope with a “reasonable worst-case scenario”.

It comes amid warnings from the National Grid of three-hour power outages this winter if energy imports run out.
