Having been in the pits for numerous types of matches from service rifle to 1k yard black powder matches… the 40mm to me was the most interesting.

When tending to the targets during rifle range,
one can distincly hear when the projectile on your
target lane goes right through and overhead, even though
the firing lanes are reletavely close to each other.
