Exactly right. Insane how many people don’t hold their assets. Twenty years people repeat the mantra – gold has no ‘return’. When you tell them it outperformed the ‘market’ – crickets.
Yep, BTC and gold are both excellent ways to reduce counter-party risk to 0.
Banks can’t print more of ’em, and they can’t steal ’em. You can let the bank hold ’em if you want to… and hope they don’t FTX you.
