OUTAGE NOTIFICATION: TONIGHT (12/21/22) FROM 9PM TO MIDNIGHT

The company hosting our website needs to shut down their servers because their vendor has identified a critical component of the electrical system needing immediate replacement.

“Our decision to perform this maintenance so suddenly is based on forecasts of inclement weather over the east coast of the United States later this week. Failure of this component during a weather-related power incident would have resulted in a much more prolonged outage. Our goal, given the forecast, is to proactively acquire the part and schedule the maintenance now instead of being reactionary should an incident occur.”

So, if the website is down when you go to access it, we were not taken off of the internet and should be back up by Midnight.

Hmm… Something like that just happened in my area yesterday with the power and phone/internet companies. Makes me wonder what’s being installed at the last minute.
