Mispronunciation is done on purpose as a tactic. For instance, the CCP is actually the CPC. Foggy Bottom has even done it to whole countries, forcing them to take the Western names. Fletcher Prouty mentioned it in one of his books. Secret Team, maybe… I just mention it because it is entirely possible that MSM had been mispronouncing his name the whole time, by accident or intentionally.
