The ticking border time bomb: 1,000 migrants in the largest caravan in HISTORY crosses the Rio Grande into El Paso – with huge numbers being released onto the streets and just nine days until Title 42 ends
More than 1,000 migrants streamed across the southern border into Texas on Sunday night in a dire indication of the chaos to come when Title 42 comes to an end in just nine days.
The group from Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua – possibly the largest in history – ran across the Rio Grande into El Paso, where local officials are releasing hundreds of migrants back onto the streets and border officials are bracing for a surge in crossers.
Footage shows the migrants wading through the water carrying belongings and then waiting in line on the river’s bank to be processed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials.
Title 42, the COVID policy of expelling migrants when they reach the border, is set to come to an end on December 21 – just four days before Christmas.
Overworked border guards fear thousands could cross into the U.S. from Central America every day and will be overwhelmed by the influx.
Mexican authorities appeared to have assisted the illegal crossings, with images emerging of police escorting nearly 20 buses filled with migrants into Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, which is directly across the border from El Paso.
As the pandemic-era policy winds down just before Christmas, House Republicans warn in a letter obtained by DailyMail.com that the Biden administration’s use of Air Marshals to assist along the border could put ‘the lives and safety of airline passengers at risk’ over the holidays.

The massive caravan comes just nine days before the expiration of Title 42, which allowed immediate expulsion of asylum-seekers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and could lead to holiday chaos at the southern border
Title 42 helped quell the migration crisis at the southern border as immigration officials were able to immediately expel those seeking asylum in the midst of the public health emergency.
President Joe Biden tried to put an end to the policy in May, but received a slew of backlash from Republicans who claimed it was wrong to end a policy while the U.S. was still under health emergency orders.
Title 42 was first enacted under former President Donald Trump.

It seems to me that many of these hispanic families are conservative in their social beliefs. So long as that trend continues and more hispanics vote for candidates that are also conservative, perhaps then the democrats will want to build a wall so we can get our border under control. My hope would be that the “ticking time bomb” will be California turning dark RED!!
Why, with all the reporting do we never hear of is paying these peoples way here? They didn’t just walk here from Costa Rica. At least not the fat ones carrying kids.
I can’t even afford a trip to Az. to warm up. And some half-starved Somali has the money for a full trip from Africa?

As some one who has lived in El Paso, and has family there, I can say with certainty, that the people that are invading El Paso, and Texas are not conservative, so stop with conservative social value lie. These people will rob and kill you, and then go have lunch and laugh about your death.
The police department in El Paso has stated that they cannot handle the thousands of invaders, so they are recommending that legal residents stay in their houses and not go out at night. The Border Patrol is not stopping the invaders. The Border Patrol is useless. The border is wide open. The military at Fort Bliss is doing nothing to stop the invasion. Their are more concerned with protecting the borders of old Israel and Ukraine the new Israel.
The Republican governor Abbott is more concerned about antisemitism then he is about the invasion. He has press conferences and states that he will call out the national guard… well where is the guard? And the Republican majority legislature are bought rotters and they are doing nothing, other then taking about the issue. And open border gun grabbing Rino rotter Texas Senator John Cornyn will support another amnesty as common sense immigration policy. Wake-up – The white population is being replaced. Your children will not be able to handle the aggressive gangs of invaders, as the invaders do not fear white Americans. So do nothing. Do not even call your elected bought pull peddling open border gun grabbing uniparty representatives, as they are all aboard with the plan to destroy Texas and the USA. Just keep voting harder. The definition of a country is that it has a border, a language, and a culture.
There is no longer a border so is it fair to say that the USA is even a country at this point? It resembles an ATM machine that people stick a card into to get money, and little more. Instead of USA it might as well be SNAP.
