WTF over? This is a movie? It sure looks more like the real deal than any movie I’ve ever seen. Participants seem to know what they’re doing and the ordnance is convincing too.

It’s like Escape from Takorov with armor drones and arty…..I’m betting the next one will have politicians in it.
I found this by accident a few months ago. It’s the most gritty, no BS film about urban combat I’ve ever seen.
What’s really special about it, however, is the peek at what the modern battlefield has become. Drones, mortars, counter-battery fire, signals intelligence, it’s all there. Even if you don’t understand what’s being said, it’s not hard to follow.
Drives home the point that intel, information and comms drives the battlefield. Drives home the point that the modern battlefield in a state-on-state conflict is not where you want to be. Drives home the point that you need a way to deal with drones and with overhead visibility / detection.
And the Russians do love their arty, don’t they?
P.S. can you see US Army stronk wymyns on that battlefield, on either side?
Thanks Mike. It sure it all that. Hard to believe it’s not actual combat footage except for continuity, and less chaos than the real thing might impose.
Horrifyingly instructive. I kept thinking, “That is NOT how I intend to fight, given any other choice!”
