I Am So Glad I am 77 Years Old Because I Grew Up in America Knowing I Was a Chicken Hawk, by Scipio

America started turning away from its greatness and from its Judaic-Christian roots and values just before the Vietnam War. In the fledgling empire’s first conquest attempt at the Bay of Pigs. The American public first became aware of the nefarious CIA but thought it was a one off. Fast forward to September 26, 2022 and the Nord Stream pipeline being blown up. Thank you Seymore Hersh for you fine investigative journalism, proving what many of us already surmised. Once again, the media characterization of the event has been disproven as fake news. It is no conspiracy theory. It is a conspiracy fact.

America’s unraveling accelerated during the Vietnam War and the 1960’s nascent cultural revolution. Despite Walter Cronkite nightly telling the national TV audience “That’s the way it is” the truth is that was not the way it was. Walter is America’s poster child for outright media distortion and bias. Today, the media has morphed into the Agency of Lies for the Empire of Lies parroting every government propaganda mantra.

Almost my whole life I grew up in a country that has been constantly at war. Yet, everywhere I turned I was told we were a nation of peace. If we were a nation of peace, we seemed to be involved in a lot of wars? After returning from my tour of duty, I begin to question, why have we been constantly at war most of my life? Why have we been told we are a peace-loving nation?

The first five years of my life, 1945-1950, America was at peace. For the next three years, 1950-1953, we were at war in Korea. That war supposedly ended in a stalemate. However, like General Douglas MacArthur testified before a joint session of Congress, “There is no substitute for victory”. Time has proven we actually lost the Korean War. In 1950 Korea was no threat to America. Now in 2023 they are. They have nukes and as of last week they have ICBMs ready deliver them to their favorite address; 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

After Korea, my country lived in relative peace again until 1961 when President Kennedy increased the number American “advisors” into Vietnam. I lost several of my friends and classmates the Vietnam War. Two of my closest friends were killed stateside as “collateral damage” from PTSD suicides.

If you are keeping count, by the time I was 30 years old, my country had been at war for 13 years and at peace for 17 years. On the other hand, if you take out the first five years of my life when I had no awareness of the world around me, during the first 30 years of my life that I was aware of, our country was at war 18 of those years. That’s not a stellar record for a “peaceful nation”.

Not setting aside the not so “secret wars” in Cambodia and Laos after and during Vietnam there was more wars. From 1975 to 1985 there were “brush fire” flares ups like in Nicaragua and the blitzkrieg of Grenada!

By the time of the Vietnam War, the lies of the nation’s warmongers were being exposed. The publishing of The Pentagon Papers found its way into mainstream media. Had not the media been looking for something to hang on Nixon, we probably would still not know what was in The Pentagon Papers. Where is Daniel Ellsberg, Woodward and Bernstein now when we need them again? Those in the media only reports facts when it is to their advantage. Unfortunately, the nation had already been taken in by the Gulf of Tonkin lie and tens of thousands were already dead.

By 1990 the Empire was expanding, the old Soviet Union, the Evil Empire, America’s nemeses, had just collapsed. It was time for America to shoot for Hegemon status! Thus, The Empire of Lies was born.

What has followed has been nothing short of full-fledged imperialist aggression papered over by the media prevarications and outright trumpeting of lies, distortions, and omissions. Who could stop the lone remaining super power, the king of the mountain? In quick succession there came the “endless wars”; Gulf War I and II, Serbia, and 20 years in Afghanistan. Then the CIA moved front and center with the Arab Spring that inflamed Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Iran, and Syria. Remember Benghazi? The USA hit a real red line in the sand in Syria, not an Obama red line, but a real red line, a Russian red line. Attempted CIA coups in Georgia, Turkey, and recently in Kazakhstan failed. Then they jumped into Color Revolutions and the successful Maidan coup in Ukraine in 2014 brings us to where the Empire’s highwater mark is today with bodies strewn from Saigon to Kiev.
I will skip over the CIA’s 2020 coup. Because of its domestic nature they had to use their proxy, the FBI.

Without counting, do you know many of my 77 years have been lived in a Pax Americana? It’s been pitifully few.

Just like all bullies, sooner or later bullies pick on the wrong person. All of America’s wars since 1953, have been fought against combatants who wore sandals mostly, and who had no air cover or navy. Yet none of them were defeated. The Pentagon is currently led by generals who have won nothing. The media has put lipstick on the War Pig to make it look like a thoroughbred. However, upon closer examination, the American “thoroughbred” military fought third world nations whose armies wore flip flops and lost.

Meanwhile the military industrial complex made billions washed in the blood of American patriot servicemen and women and innocents killed the world over. That blood money was then distributed among defense industry insiders, politicians, select war mongers, and paid influencers. What particularly angers me is these evil people in power use honorable men and women in uniform to perform their dishonorable deeds masquerading them as defending freedom and liberty.

Now the American Bully has picked on the wrong person (Russia). Russia can and is fighting back. Ask America’s collapsing Ukrainian proxy on how Russia fights. Russia fights with Verdon style artillery barrages, cruise missiles from the Black Sea, SU-57 and Tu-160 airplanes, and hypersonic missiles from out of nowhere raining death from above, and suicide drones wreaking havoc below. No flip flops in this military campaign.
BTW, everything you hear about the Russian SMO in Ukraine in American mainstream media today is a lie, everything. Take what they say, turn it 100% upside down and you will come close to the truth. I have never seen so many 100% lying retired three- and four-star generals in my life.

Americans have swallowed decades of propaganda unknowingly. It’s in their news, in their movies, and in their TV commercials. It’s truly now American Pravda. Unlike 30-40 years ago, today’s younger generations (Z, X, and Y Chromosome) have been indoctrinated by the Fog Horn Leg Horn propaganda mentality. They tell you, “I say, boy, you’re not a chicken hawk”. They tell you that you are a lowly, ground scratching, unable to fly, Kamala cackling chicken. You have been lied to your whole life as to who you are and what your culture is.

Wake up! Get off the media cocaine. Mark Twain famously said, “If you don’t read the newspaper, you’re uninformed, if you do, you’re misinformed.” Think for yourself. You have been trained not to do that, but you must learn step one: question the veracity of all you are being told. What happened to those bumper stickers, “Question Authority”? What happened to all the war protesters? Apply common sense to what you hear. You would be surprised how many narratives and specious arguments common sense blows up.

Next, educate yourself in alternative media. Go deep dive surfing. Warning: do not use Google, there are algorithm ambushes there. As an exercise, however, go to Google and select any geo/political news topic. After eight pages or so, you will find the same five or six sources cited repetitiously. Upon reading them you will realize they usually all come from one source. It most often turns out the heart of that one source will be “anonymous” (aka made-up crap with an irrelevant fact or two sprinkled in).

This exercise is rather time consuming but you will never have to do it again. After doing this you would think you had been doing research but all you had been doing was chasing your tail. Activity does not equal productivity. Now, do the same exercise with Brave, or Duck, Duck Go or some other search engine. Notice the difference?

I know how difficult thinking will be for many of you because you have been conditioned to react; not think. The propagandists have implanted “triggers” (mostly emotional non rational repetitive ideas) in your conscious and subconscious. Put simply, you have been played all the while you think you were being informed or entertained. You need to realize you have been deceived. You must realize this or forever be trapped in the real Matrix.

I once heard a Vietnam Vet who believed the war propaganda back then. He summarized his Vietnam experience when he said, “I volunteered to go to Nam thinking I would be like Luke Skywalker going to fight the Empire. It wasn’t until I returned that I realized I had in fact been a Storm Trooper for the Empire”. Be careful, propaganda can unknowingly make you become the very thing you oppose.

People, please turn off your TV news, local and national. Get your news on the internet, then turn on the news and compare it to what they say. Young people of all ages burn your news print. Stop and listen to others who are knowledgeable and/or who have firsthand experience with things. Don’t just “hear” them, but “listen” to someone who has a different or opposing viewpoint. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

America’s misguided and power-hungry wars of empire have caused the death of millions of people around the world over the last five plus decades, and most Americans are too sheltered by various government interventions, too lied to by the media, and too ignorant because of a crappy educational system to be aware of it.

For over two centuries America’s geographic location between two giant oceans has insulated us from much of the world’s troubles and wars. That didn’t keep us from crossing those oceans and sticking our noses in other’s fights. That insulation is about to change.

An example of how far we have fallen is when the nation lowered its flag to honor the alleged American international war criminal Madeleine Albright (see footnote 1). Lowering the flag showed how complete American’s deception and misguided perceptions had become.

When my children were growing up and observed unsavory things, they thought they were normal because they had no normalcy base line. I would tell them they should have seen the America I grew up in, and explained what was different today. It’s even more difficult now trying to explain it to my grandchildren.

When my kids and grandkids were little and I wanted to distract them, I would suddenly raise my voice, thrust my hand upward pointing to the ceiling, and I would say, “Look at those elephant footprints on the ceiling!” Instinctively they would look up because they trusted me. Then they would laugh and my distraction had done its job.

Today, the media does the same thing except it’s, “Look at that giant balloon in the sky, and oh what are those cylindrical objects,” and “could they be UFOs!” Lions, and Tigers, and Bears. Oh my! Notice these stories happened just as the Nord Stream news hit the headlines. Coincidence?

Remember when North Korea said they were going to attack the USA on a specific date, December 13th 2012? The North Korean news threat was running 24/7 in the news during that time. My mom was in assisted living 150 miles away. I was on the phone with her for hours the night before because she was terrified about the North Korean attack the next day. She even took the time to tell me her last words if I never saw her again. It was sad. I told her not to worry.

The next day the Sandy Hook school shooting took place and the media dropped the North Korean narrative like a hot potato. Apparently North Korea took pity on us in our national grief and didn’t attack because of their compassion. They didn’t want to add sorrow upon sorrow to us. The North Korean threat was never mentioned again in the media, because there never was a threat, just media hype, fake news.

Did you notice how the “sudden” collapse of Afghanistan took place just as the government was raising COVID hysteria stories? NY Governor Cuomo was taking the lead in “protecting” seniors by putting them into “virus magnets” called nursing homes? He is gone now. His usefulness is over.

The government, in collusion with the media, (BTW that is close to being a definition of fascism) has a crisis waiting in the wings for when it is needed for a distraction. The Russian SMO into Ukraine messed up their schedule, but the media seamlessly dredged up its Russophobia narrative it had been honing since Russiagate. If fit like a glove for their narrative. If they don’t have something new, they dig up something from the past. Who knows, is a Jeffrey Epstein expose’ the next distraction?

As far as make America Great again is concerned, it ain’t going to happen. The propaganda machine and its minions will see to it. The America I knew has long since passed out of view in my rear-view mirror. Your America will soon disappear in your rear-view mirror. However, we can work to salvage some of its fractured parts, organize swaths of land into independent provinces, and build a nucleus for a New America where internal maggot enemies are not allowed.

Turn off the propaganda and think for yourself. We are not a peaceful nation; we have been lied to. Unfortunately for us the people on the receiving end of those lies know exactly what our nature is. Do you think those parents, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and uncles of those 500,000 women and children killed in Iraq agree with Madeleine Albright? Do you think they harbor good feelings for America? What about the millions of others strewn from Southeast Asia to Russia? It’s dangerous to be an American today. The chickens are coming home to roost, and Fox is in the chicken coop.
Realize you are not really living in 2023. You are living in a nonfiction 1984 world. Read the book 1984. It will strip away the propaganda spell that has bewitched you. Then you will see what it reveals about your world. Beware, the odds are not in your favor.

Try thinking for 30 days. If not satisfied your old dead brain will be returned to you with no shipping cost because it has never gone anywhere anyway.

(Footnote 1) In March of 2022, American flags were lowered at half-mast in honor of former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright’s death. In 1966 she was interviewed by Leslie Stahl in a “60 Minutes” interview. Stahl said, “we have heard that half a million (Iraqi) children have died (because of sanctions and war). I mean, that is more than died in Hiroshima, Stahl said. “And you know, is the price worth it?” Albright said, “I think it was a very hard choice, but the price, we think, the price was worth it.”

In other words, a war where hundreds of thousands of innocents were murdered based on non-existent weapons of mass destruction was worth it! We lower our national symbol to honor beasts like her? American propagandists whipped up sentiment for this crafty designed Iraqi War, just as they are doing now with the “I Stand with Ukraine” narrative. This time the stakes are extremely high and there is a formidable counter party in this conflict.

I’m glad I grew up in America knowing I was a Chicken Hawk. Otherwise, had I grown up influenced by today’s propaganda, I might be confused and think I was a chicken.
