Big Changes Coming in Golf Equipment, by Scipio

Have you heard about the new golf balls they are coming out with?  One of the prototype golf balls showed up on a private golf course recently. An eyewitness gave this account.

A man, whose party did not show for tee time, let the next party in line, one man, join him.  The first man deferred to the second man to take the first tee.  The man placed his ball on the on the tee and the first man said, “Wow, that’s an unusual looking ball.” The other man said, “Yeah, it’s a special ball. It’s a ball you can’t lose.” The other man said, “Man!  I need a ball like that. That would save me a lot of money. How does it work?” The second man said, “Well, if you hit it into the rough, it has bright LED lights embedded in it, and it flashes high intensity bursts of light so you can see it.

If it goes further or out of sight, it emits high frequency pitched beeping noises allowing you to track it down auditorily.  If it goes in the water, it has tiny fins that pop out pushing it back to land.” The first golfer said, “That’s awesome! That ball must have cost you a fortune! Where did you get it?”  The second man said, “I found it.”

Or you could have Oddjob place the ball wherever you need it.
Golf is a construct of the white male patriarchy. (honk!)
    Is the frequency dog friendly?
Local farmer used to let us smack them into the field if we would later retrieve them, got one about 400 yards once.
It is all about the grip and stance.

I thought this was going to be about the video with a guy hitting a golf ball with a shotgun shell attached to it (the ball was the projectile, lead was removed). Quick search, I didn’t find it. I can’t remember where I saw it… But this isn’t a bad angle on the green: https://youtube.com/shorts/GwDpY6g5h-Y?feature=share
