    Definitely somewhat regional. Around this area woke Carhart is predominant. Another area I go to its Mossy Oak. Another area its anything from Cabela’s

      Around here it is often either carhartt or bluejeans, and some well loved boots. Knowing how people dress in your area most definitely makes it a lot easier to pick out folks who aren’t from there.
      Most people are pretty oblivious if you blend in- I’ve walked into very large industrial/manufacturing plants fairly recently to visit former coworkers. Dress like the employees, including a pair of safety glasses, and follow someone in around a shift change. Generally nobody even notices you.

    Good discussion. All his gear up front makes me wonder “how much of this would I shed after 4 hours of Scout or Recce courses?”
