Yes they would. No question. They are politically controlled. Now how effective they would be against a domestic insurgency or domestic separatist movements is a different question.
All countries in collapse turn the security apparatus inward. Remember that.
In my locale, no one is supporting this globohomo illegitimate regime, and some of the most hardcore about defending their families and community are former service members themselves.

Good chance of it although I can’t say Twitter would be a source of logical thinking. The mindset I see there is seriously a train off the tracks and spewing toxic propaganda. So why is the government doing all the plane surveys over our population centers? Seems that nothing good for people likely to come out of that and trust in government isn’t exactly at a high point lately…

One thing to think about is how 1) middle eastern islamic extremists, (HAMAS, Hizballah etc), 2) Latin American cartel groups, 3) rooskies and chiiiinnu insurgents, 4) radical miltant leftist socialist/communists revolutionaries all of whom are comitted to the destruction of the U.S. as we know her, whether U.S. Citizens that have been in the U.S.or non U.S Citizens who have crossed the border and how these in the U.S. population will be used…
Sure they would, in a flash, they’re government issued, obedient employees and their senior leaders will obey commands from their godless woke globalist overlords regardless. SS psychopathy will become acceptable doctrine when the point comes.
