Every video gamer could have seen this coming, but not the US/NATO ‘ planners’. Apaches still use Hellfire. Ka 52, Mi28 ,Mi35 carry Hermes – twice the range , nearly triple the velocity.

This really shows that a lot of the propaganda you’d see about Western armor being invincible was mostly a mind fuck.

I mean, has anyone here see the combat footage from Yemen? You should take a good look at some of it. You’ll see Abrams tanks going up like roman candles.

The lesson is, your badges, your weapons, your armor, your artillery, your air… you aren’t invincible. You never will be. Far from it. The amount of legit high quality weaponry in the hands of private citizens means that danger close will well… not go to good for youse. As an example, the SOST round is.. ok. It was good, but never consistently sub moa. However when I switched to a 77 grain SMK (either the IMI Razor core or PSA’s SMK) holding sub moa at 100 meters (M4 with an ACOG) is stupid easy. Head shots are very little effort at 300. With a 1-8, at 100 I could shoot the pupil of a scenario target with a little effort at 100 and consistently hit the pupil.

The high A zone is at least 4″ x 15″ or so, 4″ across at the bridge of the nose and 15″ or so across the collarbone. No armor covers that part. 15″ across the collarbone, the neck tapering up is a big target…

Someone in prone at 300 with multicam on and behind some bushes vanishes. Like, good luck seeing them at all.
