I own an Amsec and had to have a locksmith help me replace a faulty keypad. While open, we discussed/pointed to how/where to cut if his electrical magic hadn’t worked. It’s not that big an area and I’m guessing a grit cutting wheel could do the job is less than 40 minutes.
Now, I’ve long since programmed in my own code – but might this article suggest the possibility even privately coded safes (not just Liberty) have a manufacturer’s “back door”? AP readers probably have a variety of makes, any opinions/experiences would be appreciated.
How do you like those convenient digital safes now?!! Nothing like an old school dial combination lock. One can manually change the numbers and no one on earth has the combination but you.
Most electronic devices are so convenient to use and so vulnerable to Big Brother.
