An incriminating report shows that U.S. taxpayers funded coronavirus research and experiments at a lab in Montana.

Reportedly, Montana lab research was in partnership with the Wuhan Institute of Virology and under the direction of Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The viruses studied at the Montana lab are believed to have been transported to the United States in 2018 from the Wuhan lab identified as the source of the COVID pandemic.

Though Dr. Fauci, director of The National Institutes of Health (NIH), has testified the coronavirus developed naturally from bats in China, the report indicates that under Fauci’s leadership the NIH infected 12 Egyptian fruit bats with a “SARS-like” virus called WIV1 at a lab in Montana in 2018.

Less than two years later, the COVID-19 virus was detected in Chinese rufous horseshoe bats in the Wuhan area.

According to the FBI, the WIV1-coronavirus was shipped from the Wuhan lab and tested on bats transported from a zoo in Maryland. The report notes the director of the zoo had previously been employed by the NIH from 2003 to 2012.

Notably, authorities have fined administrators connected with the zoo and its associated Catoctin Wildlife Preserve multiple times for “animal welfare violations.” Records show that as of April of this year, the zoo housed 241 bats of which 41 were Egyptian fruit bats.

Anthony Bellotti, the president and founder of a group investigating the zoo, said, “Our investigation has uncovered the real-life horror story of how a shady roadside zoo whose curator was an NIH animal experimenter shipped off bats to a deadly government virus lab overseen by Dr. Fauci to be infected with a coronavirus obtained directly from the Wuhan lab that experts believe caused COVID.”

Though the report indicates the virus experiments at the lab in Montana were not responsible for the COVID pandemic nor could they cause a “robust infection,” the report substantiates claims that the NIH was working with the Wuhan lab, infecting bats with coronaviruses, and funding “dangerous virus research across the globe,” according to the Daily Mail.

The report originates from an article titled “SARS-Like Coronavirus WIV1-CoV Does Not Replicate in Egyptian Fruit Bats,” published in the journal “Viruses” in 2018. The information in the article spurred a group called DRASTIC to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A similar investigative group called White Coat Waste Project is demanding America stop funding dangerous biological and chemical research and has filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain additional information on the work at the Montana lab.

The Daily Mail previously reported that “millions of US taxpayer dollars are being sent to shady laboratories in China to fund cruel and dangerous experiments on animals.” Many believe America coordinates much of the “gain-of-function” research in the world, which involves “making pathogens more infectious or deadly.”

Though research advocates claim the work aids in understanding and creating antidotes to viruses, public outcry has been significant — prompting the U.S. to quietly shut down a taxpayer-funded $125 million project last month.
