In my area of the country I am starting to see small businesses like pubs going cash only.
Working at a well known regional grocery chain part time, in the suburb of a somewhat well known metro area, we still accept cash in the self checkout lines. Corporate headquarters tried a pilot program that made one side (we have two sets of self checkout lanes at opposite ends of the store) credit card only.
