“Do you break in your tires on your truck?”… You mean you don’t?! lol I absolutely do. It was a lot more fun on the old RWD 5spd Dakota with a posi, had to burn the little tire nubbies off from the molding process. Or that time the Shop Instructors at college were out with a tape measure trying to figure out who’s vehicle left the 11.5” wide pair of black stripes through the shop and out the door. I’m going to have to blame Charlie Daniels and his Stroker’s Theme on the radio for that one. I have to say it’s kind of funny, typically your engine on vehicles is broken in at the factory, prior to purchase. Some will still have the break in oil in it. It was kind of odd when I bought my Triumph off the showroom floor, being required to drive it a certain way and stay in specific RPM ranges in order to break in the engine for XXXX amount of miles. Good Listen though, Lots of good little pieces throughout and humor. Makes me feel a lot better about a couple of the choices I made in parts and pieces… and of course another book I need to pick up. Thanks for the Info.
