Great information! Q: is it possible to mount a pvs-14 helmet, next to an ir 14 equivalent on the helmet for a dual tube capability, and let your eyes/brain do the coordinating? Also, will an ir laser show up on a thermal sight/scope/device?

Great question – you can do that. Its actually how K has his NODs rigged (two PVS-14s on a bridge mount). IR lasers won’t show up on thermal since its heat imaging.
