Yes, the AGM Rattler is pretty damned good for $895… until you receive it and realize that you have to order the clip on collar from AGM for an additional $300+ and that it must match the objective of the host scope. I would rather have had the non clip equivalent AGM and mounted it solo on a night dedicated rifle. Did I do my due diligence? No. I took it for granted that the unit was complete as sold. I may inquire with AGM if they have an eye cup which will fit to make this a stand alone. Or perhaps I will make my own. Anyone want to swap?
You do not need the clip on collar for the rail mount.
