When there’s a grid down or SHTF scenario, having a two wheel option to escape the city is about your only hope of avoiding highway gridlock. The dirt and e-bikes they reference are fast but carry little weight other than a backpack. Look at e-bicycles to pull a small bike trailer and provide mobility regardless of the grid. You can pedal if you have to. All for one third the cost of the dirt bike and provide you with a way to exercise during normal times. They can also swap batteries.
