That’s okay news. However in very rugged terrain, Starlink doesn’t work anyway. There isn’t going to be any power for a long long time there. At last count, 360 substations are off line. Backorders for transformers are a year out from my understanding. That means cell phone towers will be out at least that long as far as I know. How will folks communicate after the First of the Year? The 2m repeaters are down, and handhelds have very limited range. Radio comms at this point are either simplex / relays and NVIS from 40m on up bands. It’s going to take years for things to get back to normal according to the reports I’ve heard. I appreciate what Elon is doing, but not many are looking at the long term issues.
