Everyone is going wiggy with the drones and their effect. Honest to God, all I see is just wide open terrain that favors anyone who can get in the air. You don’t see the drone tactics in urban or heavily forested areas. All the combat footage from both sides of the Ukraine war going back to mid 2022 or so when they started the drone revolution. Drones sure as hell didn’t take Bakhmut or Mariupol, as an example. That was men with rifles who did that.

There were articles written by Mike about anti materiel rifles. You know, as the use of unmanned assets expands on the ground those articles are going to be even more relevant going forward. 50 bmg and 12 gauge slugs… gonna need em.

Over on K’s blog, there is a real old article called “Three Man Teams.” It might be worth a repost here, even though it is slightly dated. The TTPs used by K and his teammates (12 men total) to cripple a battalion sized element would probably be appropriate for discussion, especially since UAVs are now being prolifierated so much.
