Naysayers, skeptics and curmudgeons… you all have sufficient reasons to hold such views but, do you think that we can at least “give Trump a chance,” while holding him to the high standard he has set for himself with a relentless observation and honest critique?
TDS, it seems to me, is almost as pervasive and intractable on the right as it is endemic and mindless on the left……
If this admin. succeeds at half the goals I heard laid out today, this country would be 200% better off and our enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC! would be set way back or destroyed. How ’bout we give it all the support we can and give the inflexible and reflexive pet theories a rest?
Whaddya say… six months maybe?
Alas, as the author above correctly points out, we will likely be called, by individual circumstances or national authority, to kinetically defend against a variety of malefactors, again, both foreign and domestic. I make no distinction between them and it will probably be impossible in real time to do so. This will not be the time for pet theories or ideological absolutism: paralysis by analysis will be fatal.
