🚨The Texas House just voted to make property taxes $3 BILLION higher… to create a "TEXAS NIH"… to "study" healthcare.
The House is out of control and can't spend your money fast enough.

Property taxes in Texas have become legalized extortion. The state controller, the counties, appraisal districts, and school districts have become the enforces for high property taxes. Of course, the school districts and teachers are the propaganda arm for higher taxes. The appraisal districts increase the appraisal of houses over 10%-15% per year and the land around the house by approximately 15% per year. Even with the homestead and over 65 exemptions your property taxes double every 7 years! Without those 2 exemptions property taxes double at a faster rate!
I live in small rural town with a population of approximately 1,380 people. It is a town that has had no growth and has no amenities, however, the school district continues to demand higher taxes. The entire town is a slave to the school district. Keep in mind, SAT scores for the graduating students from the local high school have declined year over year for decades.
The corrupt DEI state representatives including both the communist democrats and the Bush RINO big spending republicans believe all Texans are their tax slaves. Many of my friends and family have moved from Texas to Tennessee due to the property appraisal / tax extortion racket. The Texas House of Representatives are corrupt pull peddling people who are in the process of turning Texas into the next bankrupt blue state. If you have time, go to Austin and attend a session of the Texas House and you will be amazed that so many parasitical DEI morons have been elected as state representatives. Who is $ John $ Galt?
