Are we at DEFCON 3?

I can’t vouch for the source, but just thought I’d pass this along. I just got wind, believe it or not, that the United States has reportedly raised its nuclear alert status to DEFCON 3. This has happened several times in the past including:

The Cuban Missile Crisis (1962)

October 1969 Secret Alert (as part of a response to rising tensions during the Cold War)

September 11, 2001 (in the immediate wake of 9/11)

Regarding today’s supposed alert, it seems that Russia has put a top-grade 170m nuclear submarine equipped with 16 intercontinental ballistic missiles with 10 MIRVs each at the disposal of Iran.

Now that Iran has allegedly hit Dimona, Israel’s nuclear facility, with a missile using a delivery vehicle designed for nukes, Iran’s access to this Russian submarine has apparently been deemed troubling. Unfortunately, its design is so stealthy and advanced that the odds of finding it hiding in undersea topography are very slim.

Exercise caution. Before anyone jumps on my back and subjects me to further throttling, this information has not been vetted. But then again, American citizens no longer have access to verifiably uncontrolled news sources, so no one can really vouch for the reliability of anything one hears any more.

I’ll merely say that the news outlet providing this information has not previously seemed unreliable to me. As the mainstream media sometimes clam up about sensitive developments on orders from HQ, I just figured I’d mention it so that others can check it out at their own discretion.

No surprise there. The Israelis and DJT were probably going to use Nukes in the form of neutron weapons-kill the people keep most of the infrastructure-to wipe the Iranians off of the map. The Russians are giving the Iranians a deterrent. JD Vance was the one who got in Trump’s face to have a cease fire, as we need an off ramp for this war. We have been defeated. We need to leave the middle east and let the Israelis fend for themselves, as we have no national security interests there at all.

The USA has been served a strategic defeat by the Iranians. We have been exposed as the paper tiger that we are after years of degrading all branches of the service by multiple administrations. We offshored our weapons parts inputs to the Chinese and the Taiwanese. We have reduced our manufacturing base to essentially nothing, and we have no surge capability for resupply. We’re fighting a WW II war against an asymmetric foe, and we have lost. We’re winchester on missiles and standoff weapons, and the Iranian air defenses have knocked down numerous aircraft over the last 39 days, so standard bombing will be a high casualty event for the US. Our only way to “win” is nukes, which may kill the people above ground, but won’t do anything about the 25+ missile cities under a granite rock shield. Essentially we’re F’d. Time to bring our troops home and concentrate of the homeland and the numerous problems that we have here, and step off of the escalation ladder. My worry is that Donald Trump is in dementia, and will become more demented as time passes and pressure to use the “winning move” from Bibi will only increase.
