On this day, April 19th, in 1993 our federal government killed 76 citizens including 28 children by a combination of gunfire and burning them to death in Waco, Texas over an warrant to seize guns.
This is in addition to 6 more people killed earlier in the seige.

At Waco, before the warrant was signed by the judge, several federal agencies reviewed the affidavit in support of the warrant. Grievous errors and falsifications were identified, which were pointed out to BATFE, and the FBI. The concerns were ignored. The AUSA in Waco was then informed that the agencies identifying the falsehoods, and fabrications in the affidavit, would not be assisting in any ground mode, or direct enforcement action. The rest is history!
