‘Trans’ Gang Murders 7-Year-Old Boy in Ohio

Three people have been charged with murder after a 7-year-old boy with disabilities was found dead and bound with duct tape inside a closet at a Cincinnati apartment, authorities said.

William Michael Evans-Ellis was found unresponsive Aug. 6 at a home in Cincinnati’s Oakley neighborhood following what investigators allege was prolonged and severe child abuse.

His mother, Kaitlin Evans, 38, along with Kirby Rankin, 33, and Nessa Keaney, 23, have each been charged with murder and child endangerment.

All three have pleaded not guilty and were each ordered held on $1.1 million bond.

William lived at the apartment with the three defendants, who authorities said were co-parenting the boy.

Investigators allege William suffered extensive injuries consistent with repeated physical abuse.

The boy had injuries indicating beatings and blunt-force trauma across his face, torso, back and extremities, according to testimony presented in court.

Authorities also suspect William was choked and subjected to abuse involving water.

Investigators believe the boy may have been held underwater for an extended period and subjected to burns during the alleged abuse.

Police found William’s body inside a closet after responding to the apartment Aug. 6.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office subsequently ruled his death a homicide, according to Trending Politics.

Investigators have alleged that Rankin disclosed involvement in what authorities described as a prolonged child-abuse incident and implicated Evans and Keaney as active participants.

An attorney representing Keaney has said Keaney attempted to provide treatment to William after he was injured by another person in the home.

The allegations have not been proven in court.

William’s grandparents, Mike and Tina Evans, said their grandson had expressed that he did not want to return home several weeks before his death.

They said they later noticed an injury on the boy and became increasingly concerned after they were no longer allowed to see him.

The grandparents eventually contacted an attorney and hired a private investigator.

Mike Evans said he traveled to the home Aug. 6 intending to watch the residence but discovered police vehicles already outside.

Authorities then informed him that his grandson had died.

“The pain of losing such a sweet, beautiful, innocent child is beyond description,” William’s family said in a statement following his death. “We will love and miss him forever.”

Separate reporting about the household has drawn attention to social media posts describing the adults’ polyamorous relationships and views surrounding gender identity.

Those claims, however, have not been established by prosecutors as a motive for William’s death or as a cause of the alleged abuse.

The criminal case currently centers on allegations that William was subjected to prolonged physical abuse before his death.

Authorities have said additional charges could be filed as investigators continue examining evidence, conducting interviews and reviewing findings surrounding William’s death.

Rankin has also been ordered to undergo a competency evaluation at the request of her attorney.
