CNN: US preparing major strikes within 96hrs

BREAKING: The U.S. is now preparing to launch major strikes on Iran “within 96 hours” of receiving an order from President Trump, with planning shifted beyond easily rebuilt targets like missile launchers to nuclear facilities, energy infrastructure and military bases, per CNN.

Two U.S. officials say sufficient forces are already in the region, and the scope goes well beyond “mowing the lawn." "It will be a big effort,” and “Trump appearing to lean toward major action despite not making a final decision,” one official said.

CNN reported Intelligence assessments indicate Iran and the Houthis will likely retaliate immediately against U.S. personnel if strikes launch. The diplomatic drawdown is already underway, with the Riyadh embassy under ordered departure and others expected to follow.
