    Thanks for continuing on with your podcasts. For consideration in future episode you might be able to help me install a radio (CB or HF) in my truck by going over the lessons you learned when installing your rig. Just the high points of what to look for sizing power cables and proper grounding to get the most out of the setup.

    One thing you could do is use the Baofeng on the FRS/GMRS band. That way you can use external antennas on mobile & base stations, use a linear amp, etc, but still be interoperable with the blister-pack radios. Yeah, none of that’s legal, about like CB’s with linear amps aren’t legal. But I hear people do it. :D
