I got a pair of TTGO units on 433mhz (I figured longer range at this “lower” frequency). I could not get my pc to recognise them when I had them connected up to upload the firmware….head scratching, teeth gnashing, tried everything I could find online to no avail….. Just go buy the units with the firmware preloaded and save yourself the torment.
Some guys on youtube are showing about a mile range in a town environment with just tiny antennas, imagine the range with a high gain antenna.
