NPR’s Ailsa Chang talks with New Yorker staff writer Raffi Khatchadourian about the story of a survivor of China’s crackdown on Uighurs and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang Province.

In a random act of journalism, NPR is covering the ongoing plight of the CCP in political and physical repression of the minority Uighur population in the Xinjiang Provence. I predict that this is a potential point of exploitation against the CCP and the presence of this story is significant in what might be the US’ next move.

It might be the only move.
