Be “proud” of the word Militia, by JDAR

If the word evokes thoughts of anti-government, anti-establishment, aggressive troublemakers, we should not appear to be associated with them…..Then congratulations, you have been brainwashed. The media doesn’t like the concept of common citizens united for the protection of the common good. DO NOT let “them” define the meaning of your terms!
Today’s Dictionary.com defines militia as:
a body of citizens organized in a paramilitary group and typically regarding themselves as defenders of individual rights against the presumed interference of the federal government.
Noah Webster’s 1828 defines militia:
The body of soldiers in a state enrolled for discipline, but not engaged in actual service except in emergencies; as distinguished from regular troops, whose sole occupation is war or military service. The militia of a country are the able bodied men organized into companies, regiments and brigades, with officers of all grades, and required BY LAW to attend military exercises on certain days only, but at other times left to pursue their usual occupations.
Note by today’s definition, they are generally AGAINST government.
By Webster’s definition, “WE THE PEOPLE” are FROM government.
There’s a difference.
That does not mean a time will never come that citizens shouldn’t take it upon themselves to restore our foundations.
In a 1787 letter to William Stephens Smith, the son-in-law of [John Adams][], Thomas Jefferson said:
“And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that THEIR  PEOPLE preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts”
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.”
I encourage you to read the entire letter.
Be bold and wise enough to understand “together we stand, divided we fall”.
A dear friend recently told me of a young prepper who was preparing for something, but didn’t know what it was. Well, wouldn’t that include every single one of us? As an individual, he can accomplish little to his protection. I believe that was his point.
The intent of my comments here are not to reek havoc, chaos, and defiance of the law.  But to demand law as defined in the Constitution. And make us all realize that without the UNITY of persons, the consolidation of like minds assembled to one cause, and the structure it requires, our leaders will NEVER return to doing the will of THE PEOPLE.
The pigs currently control the flow of corn going into the federal feed trough. WE the farmers should not accept that.
THEY “should” be our friends, who we appreciate, representing OUR needs. WE need to become more involved in who “THEY” are.
So form groups. Establish militia everywhere. Come together as concerned citizens. Become that nation you imagine. Our nation will never return OUR nation to GOD’s principles  without doing so.
