It’s practically stealth too. Essentially is. Many RC’s sound like Weedeaters on full throttle. They are quite loud. The opposition is best observed on candid camera.

Yep. If it’s made mostly of translucent material, it’s going to be very hard to spot if it’s high up and moving slowly. It’ll also be tough to hear above a couple of hundred feet, especially if the targets are busy talking and doing their daily tasks.

Remember the good ol’ fashion box kite?

DING DING DING…. Combo Jumbo – BlimpKite in concierto:

But I think it just stays there. Like up/down and diagonal.
Ground level must have to move to get to other locations.

Certainly beats a noisy, screeching quadcopter with no loiter time.

Would be even quieter if it had Q-tip props on it!

There’s a URL in that video that redirects to a spam site. I would advise not going to it. It’s an interesting idea though.

Nice blimp. Now, how does it do in rain & wind? Even quad copters have issues with mother natures temper tantrums.

I giant flying prophylactic thats awesome LOL. I like it being clear as it makes it a little harder to spot. The only thing that could be better would be like a helicopter to allow it to hover in location. Otherwise neat idea.

    I like that blimp.
I remember a while back thinking of just inflating a ballon with helium
and attaching a tilt/rotate camera on it. If its windy, it would be difficult
I guess, unless tied/held via three different points?
Then a kite too would work. Both would be quiet.

James Yeager has a good idea with his trailer with a telescoping boom and camera on top, reminds me of GBOSS cam tow behind

I’m curious how much weight it could carry.
I mean it’d be a damn shame if it dropped something heavy (or flammable) onto a mostly peaceful protester’s home.

Too Big and Too Expensive- especially the Helium. My Idea? Weather Balloons that come with a Chemical Hydrogen Gas Generator- Tether it with the Camera Package that is Radio-Remote controlled. No, using Hydrogen in Balloons is Not ‘unsafe’ if you use the proper precautions. Yes, a Tracer Bullet will ‘take it down’ in a spectacular manner, but does the Shooter know it is filled with H2, and also want to reveal their Location using Tracers?
