About the Author: Patriotman
Patriotman currently ekes out a survivalist lifestyle in a suburban northeastern state as best as he can. He has varied experience in political science, public policy, biological sciences, and higher education. Proudly Catholic and an Eagle Scout, he has no military experience and thus offers a relatable perspective for the average suburban prepper who is preparing for troubled times on the horizon with less than ideal teams and in less than ideal locations.

“Slavery is the center of the war” was the end for me. BS! Ive heard this crap ohhhhh so many times. I think its now called “black fatigue”! Always will be a touchy topic for Southerns especially ones descendent from those folk that had life much worse than any enslaved. Property is taken care of and looked after but poor white folk were on their own. Im proud Appalachain….screw that Northern aggression crap!

Amen Rooster! I concur 100%. Corrupt banking practices, and corrupt government; were not tolerated by the South. Sounds familiar in these times we are seeing today! Folks who are learning online are finding out different cultures have captured slaves all throughout history and it still goes on today.
