Thanks for the link. The high IQ blond is articulate, and on the right track. Here is the link to her YouTube. I subscribed to support her channel. https://youtu.be/PiDNwgYRcHo

What begins in our spirit, controls our mind, and ends up in our fists. The mind is our first and best weapon, and needs to be exercised. Thinking and communicating, like other skills, is also a perishable. Use it, or loose it. Channels like her’s helps keep those wheels turning. I recommended that she move to the Inter Mountain West to where there is there is already the culture she describes as necessary, and become the self sufficient rugged individualist she wishes to become. The Ozarks is good too, and more affordable. Parts of the country, like Appalachia, becoming apart of the culture could be very difficult. This transition will take time, and there is precious little of it remaining. I agree with her resolve not to fall silent, but to keep talking, but only while we prepare. We should, however, do a lot less talking, and have a lot more action, just as another smart blond, Dolly Pardon, once advised.

I will now get back to fix’n my canner with high temp Permetex (gray) silicone. The rubber gasket is dried out and shrunk. This type silicone can be use to make it seal up and hold 17+ psi of steam, at temperatures approaching 300F. This fix is only for us hillbilly types. I also use it on exhaust gaskets. I gotta can up 50 pounds of buck, and 75 pounds of lard. If this fix don’t work this time, I’ll put the buck in a salt brine until another gasket can be had. It can stay there into spring. Salt brine is easy to make. Boil water, and dump salt in until is falls out of the solution. 50 pounds of water softener salt that cost $8 bucks, will do up to 100 pounds of bear or buck. Even rabbit will keep for weeks in warm weather. Thanks for letting me ‘mouth off’. Tunnel Rabbit out.
