J.P. has COVID-19 : What a weird and unusual disease

On Friday the 17th of December 2021, I tested positive for COVID-19 at around 4PM EST.

During lunch, which consisted of PB&J, I noticed I could hardly taste or smell my sandwich.

I also noticed that my legs, back, and eyes were sore. A persistent aching constantly bothered me.

I don’t have any fever worth mentioning. But I do get the occasional chills followed by a brief sweat.

Curiously, by “Day 2” assuming that “Day 2” is actually the second day, my whole body felt like I had spent 2-3 hours at the gym hitting every muscle group.

I have a mild headache, but only when I cough, which is also a rarity.

I have no respiratory distress at all, but my sinuses are stuffed up.

Sleeping is made difficult by the constant, and consistent, uncomfortable nature of my sore muscles.

Moving around provides brief relief of maybe 5 minutes, and then my muscles begin to hurt again and I feel the need to move around again.

In short, COVID-19 is NOTHING like any disease I have ever had before.

Truly a unique experience.

I have no nausea, vomiting, or dizziness worth mentioning. The real symptom that causes me the most trouble is the constant state of sore muscles that troubles me in any position. Forcing me to twist and turn for a mere 3-5 minutes of pain relief.

One of the most unusual aspects of COVID-19 is the lack of energy. Merely walking across the room makes me want to sit down and have myself a water break.

I have begun several treatments of supplements and a course of Ivermectin, Doxycycline, and Zinc.

Ibuprofen and Tylenol work well enough, but do nothing to stop the occasional muscle cramp.

I would like to thank the AP community for providing me with the necessary resources that I lacked. Specifically the OTC supplements, pill packs, and the apple flavored pony paste.

True story, but I have never successfully fed an apple to a horse. They like oats and hay.

Thanks for reading guys,

I’ll keep you updated.

-J.P.

May you get well soon, JP. And it doesn’t hit you too hard while it’s with you. We need you in tip top shape!

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 09:23

Thank You VA Deputy. Honestly I am glad I got it. It was only a matter of time.

Hope you have a quick recovery with no after effects. My wife tested positive on New Years Day. She had a few days of congestion and cough, followed by a week of feeling fatigued. She lost her senses of taste and smell after those first few days and has yet to regain them.

  2. MissileFarmer December 19, 2021 at 09:31

May God bless you with a quick recovery.

Here’s to a full and speedy recovery. Now you will be a much reviled naturally immune enemy of Lord Fauci.

  4. Florida Marine December 19, 2021 at 09:54

I had it last year right about a year ago…right before Christmas. I am a lot older then you, and it was a snoozer event. Wife and I got it, worst outcome was that is shit on our 30th Wedding anny. I had some long haul symptoms, took a dose of “apple” flavored Ivermectin paste, knocked them right down. Hope you feel better soon.

  5. James December 19, 2021 at 10:10

    Johnny,get well soon!

As for taste disappearing perhaps time if any old stuff in freezer to come out and be cooked!Anything that may not have the flavor one likes would as long as not actually gone bad now would be the time to eat it.

Sounds also like a good time to kick back and catch up on some reading(using tasteless leg lamp of course)/the chores will be there WHEN you get better!

  6. CA Warrior December 19, 2021 at 10:19

    JP,

I tested positive on Dec 2. Same kind of feelings as you but I could not eat. Finally went to local medical center on Dec 10 for MCAT infusion. Yesterday was the first day of feeling okay.

No doubt in my mind this was an engineered bioweapon. Never has a virus attack my sinuses and head like this.

Stay strong my Friend. You can beat this!

  7. Teddy Bear December 19, 2021 at 10:20

Probably not a problem in the winter, but be aware that Doxy can make you more prone to sunburn.

  8. Citizen Joe December 19, 2021 at 10:30

There is a disease called Covid. It is a bio weapon. They tell us it is a pandemic. Meaning, it is every where. It’s been here for 2 years. But the inventor of the PCR test says, that as many as 97% of the positive test results were probably false positives. Based on that info, it’s not a pandemic. But it’s still a bad disease. I initially thought that I must have been exposed to it at least a dozen times by now, because I go every where in public. Seldom with a mask on. It’s possible that I’ve never been exposed to it yet. I have been taking vitamin D3 for 4 years now. I’ve also been taking zinc lately. I never let the fear propaganda get to me. Stay healthy and free.

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 11:46

It’s possible they cranked up the cycles on the test to be on the safe side.

Or destroy our economy. Or to make money for the medical system.

      Or all three.

  9. Foxtrot Six Five December 19, 2021 at 11:05

Sounds like it hasn’t hit you nearly as hard as it hit “Glenn Tate”, thank God.

How did you get Ivermectin? I’ve been toying with the notion of getting some to just have on hand, in case, but from what I hear the postal service is stealing packages of it and whatnot…

    • NC Scout December 19, 2021 at 11:16

Glenn was in a bad way. He’s still not out of the woods though.

    • No December 19, 2021 at 12:52

See if you an find a local “compound” or “compounding” pharmacy. They can make their own. I’ll guarante it will be locally-owned and not part of any pharmacy chain. Generally, if you an find a compounding pharmacy they will know of a Dr who will cut you a script.

“In short, COVID-19 is NOTHING like any disease I have ever had before.”

May your adventure have a swift and successful ending. A “gain of function” bio-weapons’ research item if “guessing. An informed guess though.

_IF_ lungs begin to show _any_ signs of distress, immediately dig into your Z-pac, everyone should already have at least one in their refrigerator. And hit a doc up for some serious prescription anti-inflammatories if you like like you’re losing ground.
A blood pressure cuff would show exactly why the need to sit down before falling down! It will come and go. Try to get as much sun on you as possibly can – it’s a bitch to be at the deepest of Winter but try…

  11. Delroy December 19, 2021 at 11:14

Hope you’re well soon. And horses love apples and carrots so I guess we should be glad it’s not carrot flavored paste.

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 11:44

I have seen horses eat carrots. Never successfully fed an apple to a horse.

What a world. I thought Covid was weird.

  12. Florida Marine December 19, 2021 at 11:30

https://rumble.com/vqt3p6-jre-1747-dr.-peter-mccullough.html This is long, but well, well worth it.

  13. Arthur Sido December 19, 2021 at 11:31

The weirdness of the disease certainly doesn’t do anything to disabuse me of the notion that it was bioengineered. The only question is whether it was just a mild trial run to get people to take the injections or they just didn’t do a very good job of it.

Ph and my horses love apples.

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 11:45

It was bioengineered. That much we know for sure.

Judging by the feeling, sounds like it fits into the “destabilize” criteria of weapons.

Also, I sure would like to finally see a horse eat an apple.

      • James December 19, 2021 at 12:08

Me mum had a few horses back in the day,she gave em apple slices without the seed, they loved them.

      • SOG December 19, 2021 at 12:12

oh i did maintain daily zinc vit d fish oil and multi vitamins. never had to dip into my antibiotic stash tho.

hydrate and eat plenty u need the fuel

      • wwes December 19, 2021 at 12:54

JP, I hope you feel better soon. I went though the same symptoms as you about a month ago, but I also had some chest congestion. Within 12 hours of starting ivermectin and amoxicillin, I was feeling a lot better.
One of the horses I had would eat an apple whole, I had to cut them in half so he didn’t choke on them.

        • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 12:59

I can’t get a horse to eat an apple to save my life. I’ll try this next time. Thanks for the well wishes.

          • Arthur Sido December 19, 2021 at 17:46

Have you tried holding it flat on an open hand, that is how we feed them and it also avoids getting bitten accidentally.

          • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 18:15

I have. They could care less about dem apples.

    • No December 19, 2021 at 12:50

It would be too dangerous to release an engineered *and deadly* respiratory virus into an uncontrolled enviromment. Remember, the goal is depopulation but not not a run-away virus that destroys all of humanity. The virus and their “dot releases” are to drive people to take the murder shots which can be much more tightly restrained to avoid a run-away situation.

  14. sog December 19, 2021 at 12:10

horses like it when you cut it in half and hold it flat on your hand so they dont drop it. has a lot of sugars so they dont like to give them too much. as far as covid i had same symptoms. hair follicles hurt or felt wierd when touched. i did have a big brochial cough and needed two packs of predinson small dose. i used theraflu day and night to sleep and manage. i slept next to. a cracked window for fresh air for sinuses and temp swings. all in all it was def not “natural” cold or flu from a bat shitting in an advarks cage

the inv didnt so much for me although i did take some. but everyone is different.

cough drops helped as well as mucinex for the non productive cough which is still lingering weeks later. i did sleep alot in between binge watching attack on titan and life below zero

    Hi JP,
There are ways to boost your Glutathione levels like taking NAC,
and also muscle injecting or IV Drips (if you can find the sources
    available).

Here is some info for taking oral:
    https://coremedscience.com/blogs/wellness/14-ways-liposomal-glutathione-can-boost-health
Many more Glutathione products in the market I am sure.

Take your vitamins and put your helmet on….

    Stay Strong & Persevere

    Legs out….

  17. No December 19, 2021 at 12:48

    JP,

This is very much how it went for me. But check your O2 levels! I did not and very quickly ended up with pnuemonia that nearly killed me because I wasn’t coughing, didn’t have a temp, and didn’t realize the fatigue was from low O2.

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 13:00

      Interesting.

  18. That dude December 19, 2021 at 13:11

  20. Gray Man December 19, 2021 at 15:47

You need to start taking an aspirin everyday for the next six months. A chewable 81mg is fine. Also consider finding a center for monoclonal antibodies if you’re within the ten day window of symptoms starting.

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 15:55

Will Do. May I ask why?

      • FoolsErrand December 19, 2021 at 17:25

Speedy recovery, my friend. Here is some reading for you regarding Aspirin and COVID as well as Melatonin and COVID. Note that the abstracts for aspirin are a bit divergent in their conclusions.

        Aspirin:

        Korean Study Abstract: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33879541/
        Family Medicine Study Abstract: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33879541/

        Melatonin:

        https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8190272/

As an aside, a while ago, you commented on a discussion about why the Chinese have all-of-a-sudden taken an interest in Maine. I think I have a BIG answer to that question:

        https://www.mainepublic.org/2021-10-25/a-1-5-billion-lithium-deposit-has-been-discovered-in-western-maine-but-mining-it-could-be-hard

      • Gray Man December 19, 2021 at 20:03

JP, we have seen instances of folks throwing blood clots in the months following Covid infections. Young people have recovered from Covid only to get very ill and/or die from clots. The science behind why people are experiencing coagulation problems is murky, which is pretty much how everything is these days.

If you’re inside the ten day window after symptoms begin, monoclonal antibody infusions (or even the subcutaneous injections) are doing great things for a lot of people. It’s such a game changer that the people who run our media would like to ignore it because it would overshadow their end-all-be-all miracle cure of government benevolence, AKA, the Covid “vaccines”. If people knew how effective the antibody infusions were, many less people would get vaccinated and instead just opt for the infusion as soon as they tested positive.

Some centers don’t even care whether or not you’re positive.

  21. DirtNasty December 19, 2021 at 17:47

I fed a horse an apple with salsa on it. Lets just say the horse had a bad reaction and ran away. But I think I remember they like American cheese?

    Get better soon buddy!

  22. X-Beast419 December 19, 2021 at 17:59

I got sick about the middle of October. I had all of they symptoms you described except I didn’t lose my smell or taste although it was greatly reduced. I couldn’t eat anything for over a week. This lasted for about a month. I didn’t go to the doctor, I just toughed it out. I still have this lingering cough I can’t get rid of. Was it COVID? I don’t know but I strongly suspect that it was. My wife took the jab last spring and got really sick around the 3rd week of September. She ended up in the hospital for a week with pneumonia and gang grene in her left lung. I strongly suspect it was a reaction from her taking the jab. I don’t think I had the flu because she didn’t get it and her immune system was severely compromised when she got out of the hospital. For that reason, I’m pretty sure that I had the ‘Rona.

    • Johnny Paratrooper December 19, 2021 at 18:14

You should go to a hospital.

  23. AZ Minuteman December 19, 2021 at 18:54

I wish you well, and hope you kick the Rona’s ass. We need you, and more like you.

  24. James Carpenter aka "Felix" December 19, 2021 at 19:38

“This is very much how it went for me. But check your O2 levels! ” – No

Brings a good point to the table – the ability (and need) to know one’s 02 saturation (or its deficit).
Anything below 90% is hard on your heart, long term.
Anything below 80% is just hard on everything long-term.
Below 70%? You need to be headed for quick visit to a facility or such that can immediately give supplemental 02. .
Get yourself a “recording oximeter”. Variety is available online and won’t set you back much more than $100.
And as per a post from AP Medical staff, stock up on toothbrushes. Cheap, will last you a long while and should be handed out to all members of you neighborhood civil defense group as needed.
Not Covid related but another cheap/very useful item to stock is “Vet Wrap”. If your first aid kit doesn’t have at least one roll… add it in.

  25. Überdeplorable Psychedelic Cat Grass December 19, 2021 at 20:29

That muscle pounding is what got me last year.

Have a quick recovery, bro! The Mrs. & I shall pray for you.

  26. JDAR December 19, 2021 at 21:43

JP, Exact depiction of my 1st go around last Jan. We had some missionaries come home from Cambodia with a bunch of hacking Chinese. A dozen of us got it. At the time, I felt if that thick mucus got in my lungs it might get ugly. No meds (I’d know to take Ivermectin now). Taste and smell returned in a couple of weeks.
2nd time around in October I had antibodies and no symptoms other than taste and smell left again, which have never fully recovered. I’d heard taking flonase early on will help restore taste and smell and prevent permanent damage. God bless

  27. PDM December 20, 2021 at 01:58

Wife and I just had COVID; we both came up + for the test and our Dr. confirmed it by our symptoms. I just want to address the body aches in this comment. The body aches were mobile, all lower body, then moving to all upper body, repeating constantly like a switch flipping. They were a lot like what I experienced a long time ago when I hurt my back. I pinched my Sciatic Nerve up high, it caused a temporary restless leg syndrome electrical type effect, and it was brutal. That is what the body aches during COVID felt like for us, nerve pain and not the standard common cold aches. For some reason I thought that as in the common cold virus, the body aches are a byproduct of our release of Histamine. We started taking Diphenhydramine HCI 25mg every 4 hours and they went away. I told my wife and it worked for her when the NSAIDS she was taking did not do anything to the pains. I do not know if it was coincidence and the pain would have stopped on its own but it might be worth a try for people currently suffering. It made sleeping a whole lot better for us. Heal well J.P.

  28. rto-jerry December 20, 2021 at 08:24

JP, load up on you vitamin D3 as well. I was D deficient when getting the Chinese bio-weaponized disorder back in December of 2020. At a very healthy 58 is sapped me of the daily energy getting though work and wasn’t much for working out. It’s a nasty #$%&er no doubt about. “Ride the tiger” brother, we need you back in tip top shape!!

  29. Walter Zoomie December 21, 2021 at 03:08

I allegedly had it a year ago. I’m almost 30 years older than you, and I’ve had hangovers that were worse. Good luck to you, brother.
